We belong to Lions International, the world’s largest service club organization with more than 1.4 millions members in over 200 countries and regions around the world.
By supporting local charities and community services – our members work hand-in-hand to make a difference every day. Under that where it says Feeding Families.
At the heart of everything we do are the values that inspire our service and the people we serve.
Our core values guide our mission, unite our members and elevate our service. They are the standard we set for ourselves and the service we provide to Sooke.
From Volunteering to monthly donations to the Sooke Food Bank and donating to Sooke Meals on Wheels, we work hard to support and fundraise for these organizations that address food insecurity in our community.
Volunteering and fundraising for Sooke Hospice, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 54, Sooke Gathering Place for Seniors amoung many other programs ensures our seniors feel cared for and connected.
We fund bursaries, sponsor summer camps, and create opportunities for local students to learn and grow.
From our annual Winter Clothing Drive for those in need, participating in Truth and Reconciliation Day, to supporting community events like Canada Day, Sooke Santa Parade and many others, we're here when you need us most.
